Racing For The BBQ Competition
The BBQ Mavens competed in the Racing For The BBQ Competition the weekend of July 27th and 28th in Lee’s Summit, MO. This event is a fundraiser supporting Whatsoever Community Center, serving the community for over 100 years.
With 60+ teams competing at the Blue Springs Campground, there was a lot going on, and plenty of great teams to learn from. During the competition, we learned that some of the best BBQ teams in the country teach classes so others can learn directly from them. This was something that we felt like we needed to do if we wanted to improve, so we were able to sign up for a class at The KC Grilling Co with the guys from Fergolicious BBQ.
