Spice Sachet
A spice sachet, is a small sack containing herbs and spices that is used to add flavor to stocks, soups, casseroles, and sauces. It literally means “bag of spices” in French. This is used when you want the flavor of the item in your dish, but want to be able to easily remove these before serving. Items like bay leaves, cloves, and other potent spices are frequently added in a sachet.
