Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Kitchen

Disney World – Orlando, Florida

I have been able to try a number of different Walt Disney World restaurants over my many trips to the Happiest Place on Earth, and a few have really stood out above the rest. Disney Springs has recently added a number of high quality places to eat, and Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ Kitchen stands near the top!  The southern dishes that Chef Art Smith has designed cannot be topped.  From fried chicken, to amazing sides, and even moonshine, Homecomin’ continues to impress with every option!

Located in the Landing area of Disney Springs, be sure to check out this great place to eat on your next trip!

The menu is made up of great souther meals.  The famous fried chicken is of course a go-to option.  I decided to go for the “Hot Legs” as the idea of the fried chicken in a hot sauce sounded awesome!  And of course, it was!  Paired with a side of biscuits for an awesome meal!  Maven Jessica got the Mac and Cheese, and recommends that everyone tries this decadent side!  Every item that came out of the kitchen looked, and smelled, awesome!  I am especially looking forward to going back to try the BBQ plate to see how it stacks up with other BBQ in Disney!  I am also extremely interested in trying out brunch some day, so I have a few more trips in my future!

Also, Homecomin’ is known for their unique drinks!  They have 5 unique flavors on Moonshine on tap, that of course you can sample if you are over 21.  The secret, is that you are able to mix them!  The flavors, Rumshine Punch, Blue Hooch, Strawberry Lemonade, Moonshine Margarita, and Sweet Tea Shine, all lend themselves to some fun combos!  They come in normal, cocktail sized glasses, as well as the jumbo squeeze bottles that allow for cheaper refills if you’ll be visiting a lot!

Be sure to try and leave room for dessert, too!  I have yet to do this, but some day I will!  I have had multiple great experiences at this restaurant and highly recommend that you make a reservation for Homecomin’ Kitchen on your next trip to Orlando, as you won’t be disappointed in the food or drinks!
