Beef Chili

A thick and hearty, but mild chili for cold winter days.

Ingredients
 2 lbs lean hamburger;
 2 cups onions, chopped;
 2 cups green peppers, chopped;
 Jalepeno peppers, to taste
 2 cans stewed tomatoes;
 1 large can tomato sauce (28oz)
 1 small can tomato paste (8oz or less)
 5 tsp chili powder;
 2 ½ tsp salt;
 black pepper;
 1 tsp garlic powder;
 40 oz cans dark red kidney beans;
Directions

Brown hamburger in a skillet, remove the grease and place the meat in a crockpot.

Finely chop all vegetables and add to the crockpot. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and spices.

Cook on medium heat for about an hour.

Add kidney beans with juice from cans.

Simmer at least another 2 hours, or until you are ready to eat.
