Caramel Apple Poke Cake

A great fall cake, that can be tweaked to your taste!

Ingredients
 1 box of vanilla cake mix
 1 tbsp apple pie spice
 ½ cup water
  cup vegetable oil
 3 large eggs
 2 tsp vanilla extract
 20 oz apple fie filling, coarsely chopped
 1 cup caramel sauce, at room temperature
 1 container of pre-packaged cream cheese frosting
  cup toffee bits (chopped)
Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9"x13" pan with non-stick spray.

Mix cake mix, apple pie spice, water, oil, eggs, and vanilla for 2 minutes on medium speed until smooth.

Using a rubber spatula, stir in the chopped apple pie filling

Pour mixture into the sprayed pan and back for 28-33 minutes

Remove the cake, and let cool for at least 10 minutes before frosting.

Poke cake with the back end of a wooden spoon or straw every inch, in a grid pattern. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cake filling in the holes. Let the cake cool completely.

Once cooled, frost cake with cream cheese frosting.

Top with chopped toffee bits, slice, and enjoy!
