How to Sauté Meats & Vegetables

When sautéing foods, it is very easy to get soggy or undercooked meats and vegetables. To ensure proper preparation, you should be:

  1. heating the pan
  2. heating a small amount of oil in the pan
  3. adding the ingredients with the heat on medium-high
  4. stir frequently to avoid burning

It is important that you are using high heat to cook the meat or vegetables with this process.  Since you are using only a little bit of oil, and NOT frying the vegetables, continuing to stir will ensure proper preparation.  Following this process will ensure your food comes out great each and every time!
