Disney+ Streaming Service

On Tuesday, November 12th, 2019 Disney released its streaming content service, Disney+ to the world. At an estimate of over 10 million subscribers on day 1, Disney is using this platform to release older content not in circulation any longer and new, never before seen content specific to Disney+!  The streaming service debuted with almost 500 films and 7,500 TV episodes, meaning there is plenty to watch for every type of Disney fan!

On Tuesday, I was able to catch a few episodes of some of the shows that made this service so appealing to me. First on my list was The Imagineering Story, created by Leslie Iwerks. Leslie is the grand daughter of U.B. Iwerks, one of Walt’s original partners and is a great person to tell this story.  To check out the trailer for this awesome look behind the curtain at Disneyland and Disney World, check out the trailer, directly from Disney, below!

The other show I was most excited for on Disney+ was The Mandalorian.  This Star Wars based show about a bounty hunter gives a glimpse into a non-Skywalker version of Star Wars with little nods to the past.  For Star Wars fans, this is a must watch!  To check out the Disney released trailer for this show, check out the video below!

Overall, I highly recommend that all Disney fans check out Disney+ in order to relive your favorites from the past as well as see all sorts of great original content!  New epsiodes of each of these series will be released on Friday’s, so while you cannot go binge watch these new series yet, they are pushing out more episodes every week!  Visit DisneyPlus.com to get a free trial of the service or to sign up yourself!  Happy watching!
