The Eagle’s Nest

Brewer, ME

When traveling in the Northeast, people always are looking for the best seafood. In Maine, people are always looking specifically for Lobster, and I was no different. Over a few weeks in Maine, I had lobster a handful of times, and my favorite place was the Eagle’s Nest in Brewer, Maine.

Located just outside of Bangor, Maine, the Eagle’s Nest is a small restaurant that looks less than fancy from the outside. It is located right on a small river, so the views in the fall are quite pretty!

Inside, the Eagle’s Nest feels very homey and the quaint interior lets you focus on what is most important here; the food.

The only thing on my mind when looking at the menu was a Lobster Roll, so I quickly ordered, and it was not too much longer until I had a very hearty portion of fresh Maine lobster on a roll in front of me! The roll was served with fries and coleslaw and was everything I had hoped a Maine Lobster Roll would be!

They definitely do not skimp on the lobster as the bun is overflowing. Also, they kept the mayo very light allowing the flavor of the lobster to be the star of the sandwich!

Next time you’re in Maine, be sure to stop by the Eagle’s Nest and check out this little gem for yourself!
